Just SO COOL!

I was talking with Allison about pulling information together about our annual financial audit and about the Annual Report (coming out in June) and the needs assessment we are doing and all the other things on our to-do list when I saw four boys playing outside on the basketball hoop. I said, "Allison, I am really sorry to dash out, but I have to video this!"

One of the great benefits of my office is the view of the playground and of the outdoor basketball hoop. Ever since it an anonymous donor paid for us to install it, I've enjoyed watching kids play on it. When we put it in, I didn't realize how critical the height adjustment would be. In fact, I initially thought of putting a lock on it. What a mistake that would have been!

From the beginning, the catnip of this hoop is the ability to adjust it to dunkable height! And I have the best view. I love watching the the teens and tweens who go out and fly through the air to dunk the basketball.

For the past two months, the hoop has been down after an unfortunate run in with a truck. Thanks to Whitecap Builders, the hoop is back!

And here is what took me out of my meeting; Ewan, Carter, Walter, and Silas were working on a trick. Theo saw it and jumped in. They were happy to have me video it. This was take 13. So cool!
