For
safety, parents must accompany children 10 years and younger at all times
unless they are waiting for or attending a structured program.
We have a variety of membership
options to meet your needs. Memberships are valid at the Waldo County
YMCA only and are neither transferable nor refundable.
MEMBERSHIP
TYPES:
- YOUTH
- Individuals through grade 12. Youth members must be 12 or older to
be at the Y unsupervised.

COLLEGE
- Full time college
student, college photo ID required.

ADULT
- Individuals,
18 - 59 years.

SENIOR
- Individuals, 60 years or older.

SINGLE
PARENT FAMILY -
One adult and his/her dependent children through grade 12. College
student/dependents will be included until 21 years of age with a college
photo ID.

FAMILY
- Two adults living in a household, sharing household expenses and
their dependent children through grade 12. College students will be
included until 21 years of age with a college photo ID.
- NATIONWIDE
- You can use your Waldo County Y membership at other participating
Y’s through this program by the following:
• Present your
valid Y membership documentation and photo ID upon your visit to a
participating Y.
• Fill out a “Visiting Members” waiver or a standard
membership application form with liability waiver.
• Other participating Y’s will NOT charge a guest fee
for facility use.
• Does not include programs, fitness classes or member discounts.
Visiting member may sign up for classes and pay the non-member rate.
• Each participating Y reserves the right to restrict facility/program
access (babysitting, fitness classes, swim time, rock climbing, peak
court hours, etc.).
MEMBER BENEFITS
As a
3 month member you will enjoy:
- Unlimited Access to the YMCA facility.
- A complimentary Fitness Orientation
(by appointment with our fitness department).
- Unlimited use of the climate controlled
fitness room for ages 12 & up.
- Members ages 12 - 14 must have
a fitness orientation and adult supervision. Must be 17 or older to
use free weights.
- Unlimited use of the walk/jog
track. Lap counters are available at our Front Desk.
- Use of the 10,000 square foot
gymnasium when not used during scheduled program times).
- Use of the lap and therapy pools.

- Use of the hot tub, must be 16
or older.
- Day use of locker room and shower
facilities; we also have family locker rooms available.
Annual members
enjoy all the benefits listed above PLUS:
- Convenient and affordable automatic
payment options.
- Reduced fees for most programs
including our year round childcare programs - Little Learners Preschool,
Bus Stop Before & After School Care and Summer Day Camps.
- ALL
general fitness and aquatic fitness classes.
- Priority sign-up for swim lessons
and summer day camps.
- Five guest passes to use per year.
Members must accompany their guests & sign them into the facility.
Membership Facility Check In
Each member will receive a unique membership identification number.
Members are required to sign in using their ID number at the Front Desk
each time they enter the YMCA. Identification numbers may not be used
by other individuals.
YMCA NATIONWIDE RECIPROCAL Membership
You can now use your Waldo County YMCA membership at participating Y’s
through this reciprocation program.
Guest
Passes
Each annual membership is eligible to bring five guests with them to
the YMCA at no charge each year. Members must accompany their guests
and sign them into the facility.
Payments
Annual Memberships at the YMCA must be paid in full, or by automatic
payment from a debit or credit card. Call or stop by the Front Desk
for details.
Joiner
Fee
We charge a one time joiner fee for all Annual Members. This fee supports
ongoing improvements and equipment purchases for the Y. Memberships
renewed beyond one month after the expiration date will be charged a
Joiners Fee.
Day
Passes / Week Passes
Non-members and visitors may utilize the Y by paying a fee.
All Day and Week Pass users MUST
fill out the appropriate paperwork at the Front Desk.

Financial
Assistance
We WANT to help! We offer financial assistance for membership and
programs. We do not turn away any qualified applicant due to inability
to pay. Financial aid applications are available at the Front Desk.
All information is confidential.
Refunds
Membership fees are neither refundable nor transferrable. Program
fees may be refundable prior to the start of a session with the exception
of a non-refundable deposit.
Notice
The Waldo County YMCA may, at their discretion, adjust the membership
rate applicable to any category of membership. The YMCA will post
rate adjustments four weeks notice prior to any changes.
