Welcome to the Waldo County YMCA!  As a member, you will join a family of many others working together to improve the quality of life for everyone in Waldo County.  You have taken an important step in strengthening your life, your family's life, and your community.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP ISN'T JUST GOOD FOR YOU, IT'S SOMETHING GREAT FOR ALL OF US!

  • Belonging to the Y is belonging to a purpose that is much more than a “swim & gym.” Your membership supports a healthy lifestyle, youth programs, swim lessons, childcare, summer camp, senior programs and so much more!

  • The Y is a great place to work out, learn new life skills, and spend quality time with friends and family.

  • The Y brings everyone together and builds strong communities.

  • We offer two membership types: Annual and 3-Month.  Each offers different benefits but an Annual Membership gives you the most value.

BENEFITS OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP:

  • No contract and the opportunity to place your membership on hold for up to six months.

  • General Fitness Classes Group - we currently have more than 25 each week.

  • Membership to our FB Fitness Group to enjoy classes from your home.

  • Priority registration and lower class fees for Little Learners Preschool, Bus Stop Before and After Care Programs, Summer Day Camps, and Youth Swim Lessons (yes, Youth Membership are available).

  • Lower registration fees for Youth Sports. You can work out while your children are having fun.

  • Kidz Korner Babysitting (hours vary) - on hold due to COVID.

  • YMCA Nationwide reciprocity at participating Y's.

  • State-of-the-art fitness room with a variety of cardio and weight machines.

  • Reduced fees on Health Enhancement Options to help support your goals.

  • Elevated walk/run track around our gymnasium. Complementary lap counters are available at the Front Desk.

  • The Tom & Sally Savage Pool Complex including a six-lane lap pool, 91° therapy pool, and hot tub - hot tub currently closed but we are working to get it opened as soon as we can.

  • Active Older Adult programming for ages 60 or better.

  • Use of the 10,000 square foot gymnasium when not used during scheduled program times.

  • Five guest passes to use per year; members must accompany their guests to our facility.

MAKING MEMBERSHIP POSSIBLE FOR ALL.

We want the Waldo County YMCA to be affordable to everyone in our community. How do we do this?  We keep our membership rates as low as possible. If you want to become a member and think it will overwhelm your budget, please contact our Membership Director, Bruce Osgood at 207.338.4598 or bosgood@waldocountyymca.org to discuss financial assistance opportunities. Applications are always 100% confidential.
