Teen Time at the YMCA
Teen Time offers programs and services that teens want and need. Here at the Y, we provide a safe, healthy environment where teens can develop new skills, discover new opportunities and build a foundation for the future. During the school year youth YMCA members and TEEN ACCESS members can participate in a variety of structure games, join the TEEN SCENE PLAYERS Theatre group, watch a movie, enjoy a refreshing swim, cook a delicious healthy snack, shoot hoops, or just relax with friends. In addition, various special outings are also offered to all teens, including hiking, camping, Sugarloaf trips, and much more. Teen Time hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 2:20 to 5:30 pm. Our youth today are navigating a difficult bridge into adulthood and what we want to do is to help them get across safely. Teens will have pool time on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. There is no charge for this pool time. Teens will be required to take an initial deep water test.

Note: The TEEN ACCESS Membership was established to provide a safe, healthy environment for young people after school. This NO-COST program exists due in large part to financial support from the City of Belfast and towns throughout Waldo County. TEEN ACCESS has been ongoing since 2001.

Teen ACCESS memberships……

• Are available to all middle and high school students.
• Are for after school Monday-Friday until 5:30 p.m. during the school year.
• Allow access to the teen room, hallway and gymnasium.
• ACCESS teens are not permitted in Fitness/Wellness rooms.
• ACCESS teens are not permitted on the Walk Track.
• ACCESS teens are not permitted upstairs for any reason.

  There is no charge for a TEEN ACCESS Membership.
