2012 Babysitting

Because here at the Waldo County YMCA families come first, we encourage our members to come to the Y and enjoy our exercise classes, fitness center, or come take a dip in our pool, while your child enjoys time in our babysitting program.

Our friendly and qualified staff will ensure your child’s safety in a positive environment. The kids can play with toys, read books, or have books read to them, color, meet other children and enjoy having snacks together. Familiar children’s songs can always be heard playing and the children love to sing along.

Our babysitting service is a member benefit that is opened to children from 8 weeks to 8 years and is available Monday through Friday mornings. We also offer seasonal evening hours, so the working parent can feel free to come workout, take a class, or swim.

Parents are encouraged to call ahead and reserve a spot. As a licensed facility, we are required to keep a certain staff-to-child ratio in order to provide safe and exceptional care for your child. Our babysitting service is provided by a staff person and volunteers.

Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

We encourage everyone to stop by and meet the childcare staff. We are certain you will see what a wonderful place the YMCA can be for your child.

VALENTINE BABYSITTING SPECIAL

Treat yourself and special someone to a dinner out. Bring your kids to the YMCA for lots of fun while you celebrate. There will be crafts, a movie and plenty of play and movement for the kids. Space is limited, register early! We need a minimum of 5 children. Maximum is 25.
Date: Sunday, February 12, 2012
Time: 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Fee: $5 per child (ages 2 – 10 are welcome)
