FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - This is a VOLUNTEER opportunity!!
Are you enthusiastic and energetic? The Waldo County YMCA has a position on our team for you! We are looking for a part-time fitness instructor with experience to teach group classes. For more information see Tamera Blades at the YMCA.

Day-time Lifeguards
If you want to help people safely enjoy the water, then this job could be right for you. Certification in lifeguard, CPR and AED preferred. Applications are available at the front desk. No calls please. We currently do not have any positions open but will keep your application on file for review as openings become available.

Aqua Aerobic Instructors
The Waldo County YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic fitness instructor to teach at out new pool complex. Instructor would be responsible for teaching water exercise classes for various age levels and abilities. Certification is desired but not required. Applications are available at the front desk. No calls please.

Water Safety Instructors
If you hold a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification and you would like to teach swim lessons at the Waldo County YMCA, please consider filling out an application. Applications are available at the front desk. No calls please. Here’s what you’ll be able to teach as a Water Safety Instructor:
• Learn-to-Swim (Levels 1-6)
• Parent and Child Aquatics
• Water Safety Presentations
